A Library has been functioning in the premises of college for the convenience of students, teaching staff and other staff. Books, on Engineering and Non-Engineering subjects, Tamil and English Dailies, Magazines on Technology and General Knowledge are available in the library. The library is spacious enough with good ventilation and light facilities. About 17,009 books, 5 Dailies and 12 journals are provided to the students.
LIBRARY RULES
· The library functions on all working days.
· Students can enter library after signing in the Attendance Register.
· Students must keep silence inside the library.
· Each student can take two books for reference. The books should be returned on the particular date or before that.
· If the students need to keep the books for more days, they can renew their entry for 15 more days. Such renewal is permitted maximum twice.
· Students should compulsorily return their books taken on the last working day of each semester.
· Before taking the book to their home, students should check whether all the pages are intact. If any error found, it should be taken to the knowledge of the Librarian.
· The student should not write anything on the pages and destroy the books.
· The student who takes the book should be responsible to return the books in the due time.
- The students are suggested to handle the book safely and return them, if not the students will be penalized.
